      For nearly 7 years Michael Waters has been advising on Intellectual Property at the Environment Agency in England, where he is responsible for their electronic public registers and other online

      services. He began his IP career at the Intellectual Property Officer in the United Kingdom as a patent examiner. There, he explored how public sector bodies manage their intangible assets and completed a Masters in IP Law. He discovered the joy of broader asset management at the Intellectual Assets Centre in Scotland, working with SMEs on their IA strategies.
