In June 2016 I joined Mott Macdonald as a technical Director, with the responsibility to lead the Global Façade Team. From 2011 till 2016, I worked for Waagner-Biro, Austria in Jan 2011 as a Director. My key responsibilities were; future products in Waagner Biro, developing new structural concepts, implementing the use of new materials, and enhancing the internal design processes.
From 2010 till 2011, I worked for Seele, Austria, as a Design Director.
From June 2007 till 2010, I worked as Project Manager for IAV (Main Contractor) on the New Concert Hall in Reykjavik, with the responsibility for the procurement, design and construction of the facade envelop.
From 2004 till 2007, I worked for Arup Facades in Copenhagen and in London. In April 2006, I transferred to Copenhagen, where I was involved in developing the Scandinavian market for Arup.
I have gained a high level of experience in design, across a wide range of buildings, and infrastructure projects.
This experience includes: architectural competitions; direct liaison with clients, interpreting the clients’ requirements and developing and presenting design proposals; Contract negotiations; design development and detailing; coordinating interfaces between sub-contractor packages and overseeing construction on-site; reviewing progress against contractors programs and maintaining on-site quality.
I have served as Design Director on several large projects including the Maersk Panum Tower in Copenhagen, the Shard, London Bridge Station, and the Sowwah Galleria, Abu Dhabi.
I am currently affiliated with TUDelft as a Doctoral scholar, researching the application of GFRC as a cladding material (expected to be finalised in Autumn 2016).
