Peter Scheffler is the Director of Corporate Supply Chain Planning & Order Processing Projects and Systems at Rohde & Schwarz. He is responsible for the production planning for all business units and production plants within the R&S production network. Peter has an extremely interesting case study on the ‘One day plant – order today and deliver tomorrow’ based of lean and S&OP. This case study will include topics such using the LEAN principles across the entire SCM organization and the conversion of the classic S&OP approach towards a tool and method to identify peak demand and trend whilst mentioning laying the foundation for IoT by reducing complexity with the LEAN transformation.
Marcel Frielinck is the VP in supplies planning at Xerox. He has worked in the Netherlands, UK, India and the US and has built an international experience in dealing with different aspects of S&OP. Marcel will discuss planning in a diverse global operation in regards to knowing how to adapt S&OP to culturally different parts of an organisation, performance management aspects that influence behavior and how to drive change to improves performance.
Hugh Williams is the Managing Director at Hughenden Consulting where he has been consulting in Supply Chain for more than 30 years and delivered millions of pounds of business improvement?to clients all over the world. Hugh will host a special interactive session on the DNA or S&OP that will feature quizzes and a quick team game that explores what lies at the heart of a good Sales & Operations Planning process.
