We cordially invite you to World eSIM Summit that will take place on 16-17 February in Prague, Czech Republic. Embedded SIM (eSIM) has long been desired by the equipment manufacturers, in particular those focused on M2M and IoT. Benefits of programmable SIM are numerous – from the security/protection of the SIM to the remote provisioning. Now eSIM came to revolutionize the mobile telecommunications industry: the fixed-connectivity service of traditional (removable) SIM cards will be eventually replaced by the dynamic connectivity features of embedded SIMs. Earlier this year GSMA released a specification that allows consumers to remotely activate the SIM embedded in a device such as a smart watch, fitness band or tablet. The process currently under way may lead to widespread industry adoption of e-SIMs in the very near future. What challenges and opportunities does this eSIM disruption mean for the industry’s stakeholders? eSIM Revolution summit is designed as a dynamic networking event that will focus on the eSIM technologies, the providers as well as the innovative opportunities it creates.
