Her professional knowledge and skills include workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning and development programs, change and transformation programs, talent management, total reward/compensation and employee benefits and more.

Piedad will be giving a presentation on ‘Measuring Effectiveness in Order to Determine if the Learning Strategy in Place is Driving Business Outcomes’ in regards to
 determining business metrics and learning/HR metrics in advance as well as turnover, retention and revenue per full-time employee metrics.

 

   

    

Todd Cardarelli is the Global Director for Learning in Tax at Ernst & Young, a global professional services firm. He is responsible for the design and execution of the Learning and Development strategy to support the needs of the global tax practice at EY, working together with EY Learning and Development and Tax professionals across the world. Before joining EY in 2002, he worked with Andersen in a global Learning and Development role, based in the US and UK.

Todd will be hosting a workshop on ‘Informal Learning Approaches – Engaging Learners Outside the “Typical” Classroom Experience’ in regards to building awareness and encouraging participants to share innovative learning approaches that engage and motivate whilst Considering ways to make classroom, virtual, and on-demand learning initiatives more interesting, engaging and effective.

      

                          

Thomas Hansen is the Training and Development Manager at Siemens. Thomas is leading a global Learning and Development team responsible for technical & safety training concepts.

He is a naturally engaged, motivating and productive Manager who is focused on applying innovative solutions to challenging problems. Strong in distilling problems into their core and analyse how solutions impact the business. Thrive with people management and create opportunities for people to grow. Living in the intersection between specialist knowledge, product development and business needs.

Thomas will be discussing a case study on ‘Corporate Training Governance – How Do We Ensure We Develop the Right Training to the Right Customer’ regarding corporate governance best practices, strategic board involvement and change management.
